I got in a day in the Valley yesterday, bouldering in the morning, and crack climbing in the afternoon. Above is No Holds Barred (V7), a classic highball on the Sentinel boulder. This is about as high as I got, and the business is really a burly dyno to the lip, about 6 feet above my hands...

Christine, who I was climbing with, found a novel way to deal with the height-dependent campus start of a V5 around the corner...

I'll be back in NYC from May 5-12. Thinking about trying to get to the Gunks, or at least the place we go on Tuesdays...

This is a steeep, vur nice line climbing out the prow on INCUT CRIMPS, finishing with a big/long move out over the lip. soopacool. Good motivation to get stronger, hahaha.  Line reminds me of something from the northeast, atypical of the south.

Matt Hanner on Latin For Dagger @ LRC. Posted a vid of this before, but the boulder has teh plusplus colors. yup.

Heyheyhey, dabbers!!

The past two weekends I was fortunate to finally do some climbing on REAL ROCK. Hahaha, DANG.

Saturday (2/20/10) was spent at LRC breaking in the baby-tips and trying to get back into the swing of things. On Sunday I was able to check out 2 new areas I had never been to before, Middle Creek and Suck Creek. Both are super close to LRC, very cool areas situated in a river valley making for a really nice setting. Will post more on this later.

Here is a video from the LRC sesh on Saturday, filmed and edited with the quickness by Matt Hanner and Jon Hur of "You & Eye Productions". Both are rocking the 7D along with the good glass, so their stuff iz a look a vurvur niiice. Check out the rest of their videos on Vimeo!
